Hi, I'm Sarah. This is why I started Jordan Valley Detail.

I grew up coming down out of the Oquirrhs into this valley, and I've lived in South Jordan long enough to watch Daybreak go from a plan on paper to a real neighborhood. I started Jordan Valley Detail because I got tired of the same two bad options everyone else in this valley has: a strip-mall car wash that rushes the job and misses half the interior, or a detail shop that wants your car for the whole afternoon and a drive across town to drop it off.

Neither of those made sense for how people actually live out here. You have a driveway. You have water rights to it. So I built a rig that's fully self-contained — its own water, its own power, every product I need on board — and I bring the shop to you instead. You don't have to be home. You don't have to move your schedule around mine. Your car just comes back clean.

I also grew up around the stories about the Great Salt Lake and what runs into it, and it stuck with me. A homeowner washing their own car in their own driveway is normal, legal, no different from watering the lawn. But a commercial detailer running gallons of wash water down a residential storm drain is a different thing entirely — and South Jordan's own stormwater guidance says as much. So I built my process around low-water and rinseless methods wherever a car allows it, and I contain and haul away wash water on the jobs that need a full rinse. Nobody makes me do this. I do it because the storm drains in this valley run toward the places my own family plays.

Every job on this site — every wash, every extraction, every ceramic coat — is done by me, personally. Not a contractor, not a rotating crew.
